From Kefalonia to Skiathos: A New Favourite Greek Island

If you know me or have booked with me you will know that Greece is my favourite place to holiday and for the last 3 years Kefalonia had the number one spot......until I went to Skiathos this year!!!

Where We Stayed in Skiathos: Avaton Suites & Villas, Megali Ammos

We stayed at The Hotel Avaton Suites & Villas which is in Megali Ammos and up a slight hill and only a short walk into Skiathos Town. We had amazing views and a large jacuzzi on our balcony.

Evenings in Skiathos Town: Bars, Restaurants and Hidden Streets

I would recommend evenings in Skiathos Town with the little streets, quirky bars and restaurants and definitely a night in The Blind Dog.

A Special Birthday Boat Trip with Sail The Day

I am not someone who usually goes on boat trips but I am so glad I decided to spend my big birthday on Sail The Day with Stefanos, Xena and Princess Nini. Honestly this day is amazing and well worth the 100 euros per person and he does ask that we don't go into detail to much as he likes to keep his boat trips a surprise.

Beaches in Skiathos: Easy to Explore by Bus and Boat

The Island has around 60 beaches and the majority of them can be reached by taking the bus which turns up every 10-15 minutes and the island is mapped out by the bus stops 0-28. My favorite beach was Tsougrias which is a little island that can be reached by water taxi from the port in Skiathos Town.
